Frederic S. Goldstein, MS

President and Founder

Fred Goldstein received an MS in HealthCare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio in 1984. Before founding Specialty Disease Management (SDM) in 1997, he served in senior management positions in both hospitals and HMOs. In 1994 he joined HealthCare USA as Vice President and General Manager. He oversaw its growth from a tiny start-up to a recognized institution with a membership of over 28,000 in Northeast Florida. HealthCare USA received the highest quality rating from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration in its review of Florida Medicaid HMOs. For the past eight years, Fred has led SDM to the top, where the company currently works alongside the biggest names in the industry. USCM is effectively directing governments and private businesses toward a more compassionate and cost-effective way of dealing with healthcare issues. SDM was acquired by U.S. Preventive Medicine (USPM) in 2007, and now Fred also lends his expertise the executive team of USPM.
